Can spending time near printers, photocopy machine or similar injurious to the baby?

Someone told me that spending too much time near printers, photocopy or fax machines during pregnancy can be harmful for the baby. How much true is it?

It is next to impossible to completely avoid exposure to chemicals, fumes or radiations altogether in the environment we live in these days. However, it is always good to avoid contact with chemicals and fumes as much as possible. However, minimal fumes exposure is not known to pose a major threat.
