How many children do you want dear?

With our current economy, what is the ideal number of children for an average-income family? I know economies vary per country but let's just base it according to the income. How many bubba is advisable to meet the family's needs and wants?

With my current issues with my bf, I only want 1

But if all goes well in the future, I'd want 2.

Average-income: I'd say one or two just to make sure that you could provide all their needs without sacrificing other things.

I'd want a boy and a girl... so that's two. But if it's gonna be two boys... then so be it. I do not want any more than that just to make sure that I can provide well enough for the kids.
