I'm on my 6th week and since the other day I had light spotting (light pink). I was so worried and told my mum about it. My mum was freaking out and told me to go to my GP. But I decided to observe it for 2 days or so as I'm not really feeling anything odd. No cramps and pains- no nothing. Is this normal?

Hey chum, hope all's well with you now. From what I know, spotting on the first few weeks of pregnancy is dangerous, whether it's a light one, worse if it's heavy. Your mum is right. Go to your GP or midwife ASAP.
Usually it's due to the endometrial lining, being inflamed. Sometimes light, pinkish spotting is just normal. Oftentimes when you had a TVS or Transvaginal ultrasound, some light bleeding on the vagina may happen. Then again it is still best to tell your gynecologist of what's happening. Hoping that you and your baby are safe.

Turned out you're right. I got the spotting for like 4 days. They're light and got lighter each day. I recalled having my transvi last week so I guess that's the cause of it. OB says nothing's wrong with it!
I got a rapid heartbeat when I read your post and gave a sigh of relief upon knowing that you're ok. You know how crucial and serious it is to have a spotting on the first few weeks of pregnancy. Good thing you and your darling baby are ok. Take care...
