Default My hands are numb

I'm curious as to why my hands are getting numb and I frequently get some pins and needles. I know of course it's related to my pregnancy but the thing is so uncomfortable and I any suggestions in avoiding/lessening it are appreciated.

It's hormones dear. If you often feel that then you must do some relaxation and exercises just so to prevent yourself from having edema.

Until now I'm having pins and needles most of the time. I guess Gaetana is right. Everything is pregnancy related.

Stretching works for me Edda. But it doesn't remove the numbness at all. Just lessening it for me to handle the discomfort.

How about avoiding staying on one position for a long time? If you're having a sedentary lifestyle then you might wanna take some short exercises on place to avoid this discomfort.

So true. I notice that when I watch a movie I feel numbness on some parts of my body easily unlike before when I wasn't pregnant yet I was able to go on a movie marathon without this uncomfortable feeling. Ugh!

Just wanting to share these:

Prevention/Solution
In order to relieve the pain, try to reduce repetitive hand movements if possible. If you work at a computer, make sure that your wrists aren't pointed downward.

Propping your hands on pillows while you sleep will take away some of the pressure. Yoga may help with increasing your hand strength.
